Product Description

A stunning red opaque glass plate or shallow dish with an intricately detailed poppy image. Developed from life the flower is composed of five layers of transparent and opaque glass fused down into a polished surface. The seedhead and shading are created using glass powders and tiny deep purple dichroic stringer, which is also used with plain colour in the stem.
